Ugh! I have my one year at twh tomorrow so I called to corfirm my appt. I've driven there before (an hour and 45 min drive) only to find out my appointments had been canceled with no for warning. I left a msg since no one ever answer's, they are a busy group..I get it. Someone just called me back and said all was fine but my psychology appt was canceled. The one appt I really need at the moment. In tears I tell the woman that. She then tells me they are booking those appointments we'll into 2016...WTF! ugh, so disappointed right now.

That does suck !!! Can your family Dr hook you up with someone in the psychiatric field that you can talk to in the meantime? A lot of communities have these services available (sometimes even for free) that aren't widely advertised if you ask the right people.
I have always found you get better results when you are actually at the clinic, then when talking to them on the phone. When I call looking for cancelations--they always say there isn't any....but when I'm physically there...I get one. HMMM???? LOL
Anyhow.....I wish you luck

Hi Mazey I had this happen too at my six month follow up on August 19th. I had dietician, nurse practitioner and psychologist scheduled. I was told it would be dietician and nurse practitioner only when I got there. Then once I did my questionnaire, my answers were "flagged" as needing to see the psychologist so I did end up seeing her after all.
I heard they are delisting the psychology component of the follow ups. Not sure how true it is though. If it is, we need to band together and start writing our MPs and MPPs.

That sucks. The worst part is when I went for my appt the psychologist was there chatting it up with people not actually doing anything.
