I was going swimming but not sure if I can fit it in.
Also I tried taking melatonin last night. There was a study about pain management. Seems to be taking things down a notch. OMG did I sleep. I new it was used as a sleep aid but boy was I out. It was awesome. Must look into it further for any reasons I should not be taking it.

Good afternoon everyone!
Barb, I am going to make some shredded taco chicken for dinner tonight, and plenty of leftovers, for a couple days, Skinless chicken slow cooking in some salsa right now. Do you just add some taco seasoning to the chicken after you shred it?
B- missed it, was out at an appt early, came home and just had lunch, was hungry.
L- 4 low fat turkey breast roll ups, with 1 mozzarella cheese string, and 1 tsp herb and garlic spread, divided into 4. Few nsa pickles.
D- 3oz shredded taco chicken with 1tbsp salsa and 1tsp taco seasoning mixed in. 10gr of inferno havarti melted on top.
S- syntrax cappucino shake with 2tbsp carnation skim milk powder added in. I am not liking it just made with water, so going to try this tonight.
Have a great day everyone, bye for now

Afternoon all. Today is my BIRTHDAY!!! 37YRS YOUNG
Started school yesterday and it was orientation. It was nice but, overwhelming as could be expected going back to school after a zillion years out, lol. Today we started group dynamics and getting to know new people. 'm sure it's going to get harder but, i'm enjoying it now for sure and being smaller has boosted my confidence for sure whereas when i was 400lb, i used to sit at the back and to the outside as to not obstruct anyones view. Now i sit front and centre with legs crossed. I love my RNY and just have to make sure i don't ruin it.
That said, i've been weak willed lately. I've been having cravings lately and i've been giving in and eating far too much than i want to. I don't get sick or anything and i can tolerate TONS of sugar which gets me jittery and the carbs get me hot. At least if i got sick, i'd probably stay away. Yesterday at school, student union had Tims for breakfast and i had a doughnut, a bagel for lunch and took the burger for dinner although i just did the meat and salad but, i find myself losing control and always justifying why i'm eating these things. I got the number for mindful eating but, it doesn't start till next month. Foods that never bothered or looked twice at, i find wanting. I never liked chips before surgery now i find myself wanting them. It's like a switch just got turned on. How do you long timers deal with this, pls help.
Today i'm staying on plan, birthday or not: 22 months post op

L - 3oz chicken breast, 1/2 cup salad
S - 2oz chicken breast, 4 grapes, 2 strawberries
D - 3oz grilled pork shoulder, 1/2 corn on the cobb,
S - 1/4 cup edamame, 1 string cheese, 1/2 cup milk
Totals: 918 cals, 46 carbs, 40 fat, 88 protein
Have a great day all, Nia
Happy Birthday Nia. Hope you have a day full of smiles. As for cravings, I've been having trouble the past few days. I guess we just have to tough it out with ultra low carb for a few days and hope the cravings go away. So glad you are enjoying school. You rock.
