Friends from the Innisifl Area Pre - Post or WLS vets

Just curious about how many people are from the Innisfil Area and if there is enough to have our own Support Group as some may not drive and Barrie, although close, may be inconvenient to get to for some.  Is anyone interested in starting something?

I live in Bradford and also do not drive. I am pre op and have my trio apt coming up Sept 25th. 

I am in Innisfil, and I know that I have chatted with a few others as well.  I would be up for a get together some where local even if it is only a few of us.  I have not had surgery and am currently not sure where I am headed but I have been here for a while now and I have participated in the Medical program but the surgery route may be in my future again.  Maybe this is something that could work. :-)

I say we can all meet up.  Lets see if we can pick a date and a location and meet.  My weekends until the end of the month are pretty busy but I am around on most of the Sundays except the 20th or most evenings too.  Not sure where you would want to meet but depending on where it is we could do Coffee Time or Tims, the Library or the park if it is nice out.  Or somewhere I have not thought of.   Dar tay and I have been chatting for a while and have always said we should get together so now would be a great opportunity.  What do you all think?

Great ideas for meeting places!! I'm game for any place/time.  I would also be willing to host people in my home. My place is small but we can sit about 6-8 comfy. Might be a little more quiet and personal at least for a few meetings.  Just send me a private msg with the times that are best for you, weekday, evenings, weekends. We can try to get something going.
