Prescription Sleeping Pills?
Hi group. I was just wondering if anyone here gets prescription Sleeping Pills and if so what are you taking? I work 12 hour night shifts and I cannot sleep through the daytime. I have been taking Tylenol pm or gravol to help with this. But I just recently realized that these types of pills are a trigger for restless leg syndrome. Found that out the hard way, but I'm glad I finally have some answers. Thought it was just worse in the mornings after working all night. Turns out it was the damn pills I was taking to help me sleep.
I've tried melatonin and magnesium. I am at my wits end. Hopefully I will be going to days soon and I won't have to worry about this anymore. But until then, any suggestions are appreciated.

Oh, you are right. I saw it advertised on tv. I forget tv is s mix of US and Canadian channels. Well, something to keep in mind for years down the road if it gets approval in Canada

Whatever you do, don't do Ambien or Lunesta or anything that has those ingredients. I was prescribed something seemingly innocuous until I checked the ingredients (after getting up in the morning to find sugar free peanut butter cookies on my counter). Night walking/doing is common.
