My fitness Pal - Nutrition Values

I am still pre-op, but wanting to get started on keeping a record of my food intake.  As I haven't seen the nutritionist yet, I was just looking for some general guidelines for my diet.  I have the Myfitnesspal app, however, not sure what values to enter.

Everyone is talking about how much protein to eat in day, but what are the limits for sugar, carbs, fats and sodium.

Grateful for any help on the subject.

I believe that MFP will calculate optimal carb/fat/protein and other nutrient breakdowns based on the calorie level.  You can customize any of the nutirents, including calorie levle,  but it will do it for you if you don't.  The World Health Organization says to limit to no more than 50grams of sugar a day.  I'm not sure if that is added sugars or even from fruits and dairy.  But you should ask your bariatric dietician for specific guidelines and reccomendations.
