What are you eating/doing today (Saturday)
Feel better soon Karen!
Breakfast - premier protein chocolate, I picked up some sugar free hazelnut syrup from Starbucks and it's pretty nice
s: yogurt, lemon meringue pie
l: spinach salad from Costco, the one with the poppyseed dressing and dried cranberries - yum!
d: Ham and steamed carrots
I bought this flavoring for water, called blueberries and pomegranate, it's not too bad but raspberry is still my fave. Have a great day all!

Good Morning Everyone! Tanya, glad you are feeling little better Karen, sorry you are not feeling better
Not doing much today, but tomorrow I am going to visit my sister and we are going to go to Costco. She has a membership. I am going to try to find the famous chicken salad. This is the first time in a long time I have taken a long drive on my own, I am excited (I know... small things)
I have signed up for the cardiac rehab program at Southlake and I am excited. It is a 6 month commitment. I have to do a treadmill stress test and a track test before they personalize my program. I have been very worried about started an exercise program with my wonky heart issues, but I will have the heart monitors on at all times and watched closely by the staff. There are RN's, physio's, and a cardiologist on site. They also have the emotional eating workshop to take, craving change, I think it is called.
I still have the anuryism in my leg to be resolved. Finally having my MRI in September. Hopefully no surgery will be required, keeping my fingers crossed.
Kinda boring meals today, it is so hard to use up things when you only eat such small portions.
B- source key lime, 2 slices extra lean deli roast beef
L- ham steak 3oz, half cup cauliflower, 1 tbsp cheez wiz
D- same as lunch
S- syntrax fuzzy naval shake, source mandarin yogurt
myfitnesspal totals: calories 584, carbs 26, fat 19, protein 70
Everyone have a great weekend!
Bye for now

Hi everyone, posting a bit late today. We went to busker fest last night and it was extremely busy but fun. Today I'm heading out of town for the evening so I may not get the chance to post my menu tomorrow, depending on where I'm at. I'm visiting with my best friend who is a fitness buff and follows a ketogenic diet, so I'm not worried about getting off track. Hope you all have a nice weekend too.
