What are you eating/doing today? (Tuesday)
Good morning everyone.
It's so true that a toxic work situation can impact your whole life. Zizzler, it sounds like you are navigating the whole thing as gracefully as possible while trying to be gentle with yourself.
I'm off to a busy day in the office. Wish me luck.

Afternoon all. Sorry Z that this situation has you in the dumps. It's tough working so hard and not being rewarded. Hang in there and sending you hugs. Hope everyone else is well.
Ended up going to the after hrs clinic yesterday as my legs kept swelling and they looked even bigger than when i was 400lbs :(. I go for a vascular scan this afternoon. The doc thinks that the drainage system is just not working well after surgery and it will go away on it's own. Hope so as i'd like to return to work this weekend. Other than that, my knee is slowly getting better, it's just going down the stairs, i still have to go one at a time.

I had a similar issue with leg swelling following my thigh lift earlier this year. Doctors felt that my lymphatic system was probably compromised and still healing (hence poor fluid drainage). My lower legs were really swelling like crazy. So they started doing compression dressing (Koban) to get the swelling down, and to allow for healing. And after the swelling was down, they also fitted me for compression stalkings. Something to keep in mind. It was a pain in the butt to have to go into the clinic every three days or so to get the dressings changed initially (also...no showering...sigh), but really did work wonders! Had to go in for about two months. And I'm all well again.
Good luck!
