Appointment this morning with my pcp to review my recent labs re iron. I switched from Feramax - which I was not absorbing - to a heme iron ( Proferrin) and I am hoping to see the numbers improving
STEPS- over 10,000 each of the past 6 days while north
EATS
B - 2 large mugs of coffee
Premier protein shake
S - hard boiled egg
L - large shrimp ****tail. Likely 6-7 jumbo shrimp with 1/4 cup of seafood sauce
D - 5 oz grilled chicken
1 cup of tomato/pepper/vidalia onion and feta salad
S - Jello s/f pudding with squirt of cool whip
MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are: Calories - 853, Carbs - 68 Grams, Fat - 17 Grams, Protein - 97 Grams
Calories are low today as I indulged while on vacation
All water and vits. More decaf coffee

I'll be interested to hear your iron results as I recently switched back to Proferrin as well. Which reminds me that I need to do some follow-up blood work too. There doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day/days in the week. lol

Good Morning all! I am finding I do much better when I do plan my meals ahead of time. Planning in MFP is great, you can tweak the numbers to get what you want. I am still having some trouble getting my protein up, and keeping the calorie count low. Once I can get more active I won't mind the calories going up a bit. I like to stay around 600. That is not including the milk I have in my decaf coffee several times a day. I don't log it.
B- 2 hard boiled eggs
L- chicken salad made with 1tbsp calorie wise miracle whip, some red pepper, green onion, in 3 small romaine boats
D- half cup cauliflower, 3oz chicken, 1 tbsp walden farms cranberry sauce
S- syntrax fuzzy naval shake, some celery sticks with 2 laughing cow wedges
myfitnesspal totals: calories 585, carbs 13, fat 20, protein 75.

Good morning Zizzler. It is hard to face a toxic work environment everyday. Hope it improves. My knee is better today. I hate icing anything but I do admit it did the most good.
In to work early this morning. Nothing special planned except cleaning my kitchen tonight which is a mess. I couldn't stand last night for long and my DH didn't feel like doing dishes so only the dish washer was run. So tonight I clean up.
