I wound up working for awhile yesterday because I was feeling behind, so today will be a real weekend day.
2 months post op
B GNC total lean chocolate shake
S Decaf coffee with soy milk
L roasted turkey and swiss cheese
D beef meatballs, tomato sauce and parmesan
S blueberries and greek yogurt
Good morning! what a beautiful day! Not sure what the day will hold, wedding organizing for sure , and maybe replacing the top on our deck- because we are not busy enough this week! Lol
10 weeks post op
B- fruit blast cram/ Pom protein drink
S- source Greek yogurt
L- Moroccan chickpea salad-soooo good!
s- a few slices of lily dale Turkey dipped in sweet heat mustard
D- not sure yet but it will be 4 oz protein and 1/4 veggies
all water and vits

Hi Z! A friend made it for me ( I have amazing friends!) but I have the recipe if you are interested. It makes a humongous bowl so great to share! Aside from the chickpeas it has onion, olive oil, spices ( paprika, cumin, crushed chilies, cinnamon, salt, garlic, tomatoe paste, parsley, mint, . Essentially you cook the onion, oil, spices and tomatoe paste and then pour the hot mixture over the chickpeas and toss, then add the herbs. The longer it sits the better! Has a bite but I like spicy food!!
Enjoy your "real" weekend day, Roma - I know it sort of sucks to do "work" on the weekend, but it sure does make actual "work" days more organized and peaceful. :)
