OK I know that there are people who don't understand why I am posting this. First of all I am doing it for me to help me to see what I have ate through the day and get back on track. Do I always stay on track no but at lest by putting it on here I am seeing where I went wrong. There are a few people who are using this post and I hope it helps them.  I started this on Monday and I have already started to lose some weight and that is why I am posting at night. It is not about what I am going to have but what I did have.

Breakfast was a banana and two 100 grams of Greek yogurt

snack cliff bar white chocolate macadamia nut. Had it in pieces on my bike ride today. Training for 100k bike ride Sept 13

lunch one small slice of pizza.

snack 2 peaches

dinner 1/2

1/3 of turkey sausage on a bun, 1/2 cup pasta mostly the vegies in it and corn on the cob

1 cup watermelon

no sugar added vanilla cones. i know this is bad for me and i know I can not have them all the time.

Not perfect by any means

I think we all eat a lot of salad in the summer.  Your cool whey protein ice cream sounds real good.

I tried posting on what are eating or doing today and it was not working for me. I started this because I was feeling like I was starting to eat to much and needed a way to get everything under control and it is helping

I'm glad this is helping you.  I also crave salad in the summer and soup the minute the weather turns cold.

OH my God nothing like home made soup.  Navy bean soup and Pea soup are the best.

The ice cream is amazing!  kicks any urge to eat the real thing.  I'm having the same issue, i've slipped back into eating things I haven't even thought of touching in the last year.  Its tough to get back out of!

1 year post op, yesterday I had:

b - gnc shake, decaf coffee

s - half a simply proten bar, back and side bacon with tomato, onion, pickle, a few bites of the bun (it had the bacon juice soaked into it and I caved, sigh)

l - strawberries (a cup, unplanned) this was not planned but they looked so good at the farmers market.  I felt sleepy after eating them, I know it is too much sugar for me.  Seems I am even more sensitive to sugar post-op than I was pre-op. 2 local baby carrots, they were very good,  what I should have done was I should have eaten less of them with some protein to help with the sugar, like cottage cheese or yogurt.

s - 1/2 pure protein bar

d - 2 raw local baby carrots, 4 fish sticks with low sugar ketchup (not planned and not the best choice)

s - 2 fish sticks with ls ketchup, later...sf cherry koolaid

all my water and vitamins

Not a horrible day but a few slip-ups, I will not be buying fish sticks again, too carby.

I would not have been able to turn down the strawberries either. We have such a short time with such good fruit that I say enjoy them while they are in season. I am into watermelon and peaches right now. My favorite fruit are cherries but they on the way out. I know some stores still have them but way to expensive. Congratulations on your 1 year post up. It is amazing at the changes that you go through in that first year.
