Thanks Pat. I'm not in that much pain today and i've yet to take any of the tylenol #3 they gave me. Just the initial pain post op was what blind sided me. I might just take the one pill soon as it's starting to ache and it's still bleeding so i have to pay a visit to my doc this afternoon to change the dressing.

Hope everyone is having a good day!  I made Ricotta Lemon Pancakes today.  They were really good, but when I figured the stats, they have more calories and carbs than I like to spend.  They will definitely be a once in a while treat though.

B- 2 ricotta lemon pancakes, 1 tbsp e.d. smith nsa syrup

L- 1 ricotta lemon pancake, cold, with 1 tsp Xyla rasberry jam

D- ham salad in romaine heart boats

S- 1 syntrax fuzzy naval and one syntrax cappuccino shake.

Myfitnesspal totals:  calories 697, carbs 41, fat 21, protein 84.

I had to add an extra protein shake.  The dietitian told me I should get 80-90gr daily.

Bye for now

Pancakes sound great. Sorry they have so many carbs

Did you use sf sweetener to sweeten the pancakes? This lowers the carbs.  Also the Ed smith Nsa syrup I find too carbs, I use walden farms, it has 0 carbs.  Another trick is to use almond or coconut flour in place of regular flour and Only a tiny amount, the cakes will still hold together.

No sweetener in the pancakes, just 1 tablespoon of sugar free lemon pudding mix.  The flour I used had 110 calories and 28 carbs in the 3 tablespoons I used.  Maybe almond or coconut flour would be less carbs? They ended up being 84 calories, 11 carbs, and 4 protein per pancake.  It just seems that 33 carbs for the three pancakes in one day is too high.  Thanks for your input
