Hot! What Are You Eating/Doing Today? (Thursday)
Good morning. Where is everyone. It is unusual for me to be first. Not much going on today. Just work and home. However I do have an MRI at midnight tonight. Everytime I have had one it has been in the middle of the night. I am taking tomorrow morning off to sleep. I have just gotten my fourth call from Sunnybrook about this appointment. Each time it is to come at a different time. I hope this last one is right!
Decided not to bike today. Still sore from yesterday.

Well I have been lurking for a while since I felt bad that I was up 5 pounds! Good gravy it was horrible! I shook off those and lost another 2 :) I can't believe how the littlest slide can make an impact!
Going to try to get a run in on the treadmill after a therapy dog visit at the Women's shelter.
Brekkie-2 hard boiled eggs & 3 oz of milk
Snack-none since brekkie was late
Lunch-Goodfoods chicken salad & cherry greek yogurt
Snack-Pure Protien bar
Supper-broiled chicken breast with peas
Good afternoon everyone. Once again I am late to the party. I have been getting up at 6:00, but by the time I get DH's breakfast, my coffee's together and try to get to the pool for 7:30, it seems like there is no time to post then. Maybe I should get up earlier, lol.
Today was swimming, shopping, coffee with a friend, and then another friend just dropped by the house to bring my some of her garden produce and flowers. This afternoon is all meetings, then home for a quiet dinner and evening in with DH.

B. Turkey bacon egg white breakfast sandwich with a slice of tomato on it (got these on sale at the grocery store, not sure I will buy them again)
S. Skinny latte, iced decaf latte, iced decaf coffee. I know, I'm a camel.
L. Not feeling hungry at all, but I know I need to eat something before the meetings. If I eat just cheese, I will have stinky cheese breath. Maybe I will pack a protein bar and just nibble on it throughout the afternoon.
S. Decaf coffee
D. Sole stuffed with lobster poached in butter topped off with a little Hollandaise - so yummy, a few green beans cooked tender crisp.
S. Source Greek yogurt in apple pie flavour
Have a great rest of the day. Pat those MRI machines are so expensive, it's great to know that they are finally scheduling appointments in the off hours. So much better than people waiting for months to get an MRI because they were only scheduling from 9-5.

Afternoon all. Surgery went well yesterday. It took about an hour and I was in recovery at 1:45 and boy was I in pain. For some reason, i thought i would not be in pain after the knee scope. I don't know why i thought that, duh, they did have to cut me up after all, lol. After a few doses of good pain meds i was good to go. Didn't leave recovery for a good while as my heart rate was 39 at some point but, once it reached 56 a few hrs later, that rushed me out of there before it dipped again. Just when i was ready to leave my stitch broke and it started bleeding all over the place. Got fixed up and eventually left the hospital at 8:30 pm. It was a long day and they had no proper food so they gave me crackers, yum but not planned. Today is much better and not in too much pain. Should be good to go by the end of the week. Thanks for the well wishes.
B - 3oz leftover veal tongue
L - homemade samosa, coleslaw
S - samosa
D - chicken thigh, zucchini
S - 1/2 cup milk, chicken thigh
Have a great day, Nia.
Nia so glad your surgery went well yesterday. Hopefully when it's healed it will be the end of your knee pain.
