What are you eating/doing today (Sunday)
Hey Nia, nothing wrong with eating chicken all day if your pouch likes it. lol I say more power to you! Have you tried any of those chicken sausages that are everywhere now? I saw some today by Shneiders, they were buffalo chicken flavoured. Almost bought them but I need to use up my existing meat in the freezer before it goes bad.
No, i've never tried those, maybe i will sometime. I usually buy from the butchers and try to avoid sausages partly because i don't like them. I like my meat on the bone and lately, i've caught myself just gnawing and sucking on the bone and not eating the meat to the point i cracked a tooth and have to have it fixed tomorrow.
Sorry to hear about your tooth. I love rib bones and bone-in pork chops, yummy. You ever read the cookbook "bones"? I borrowed it from the library and it is full of recipes using bones. You might like it, I know I found it really interesting and different. I wonder whether you body is craving the bone marrow? There are recipes in this book re bone marrow. Sausages are not something I eat often either, I usually do not like the casings very much, many use cellulose casings now, and they are harder, less tender than meat casings.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I cooked a roast beef in the morning. My son and a friend were coming for a late lunch. So they got a roast beef dinner. My hubby won't be home from work till 8pm, so dinner is already made, so I can have a nap, and maybe a movie...sweet .

Menu's look great everyone.
Thank goodness I took a cart. It was brutal, especially when the slight breeze stopped. I still got over 12,000 steps and 41 hills even with the cart. I park far away and walk back and forth to the green etc.
Off to watch the PGA championship...AND...hopefully watch young phenom Brooke Henderson from Smith Falls Ontario win her first LPGA event. She had a 5 shot lead going into todays final round.
