Might break down and take a cart rather then walk.  Last time I walked in extreme heat was draining.

Good looking menu - got me thinking of eggs and rye bread.  Yumm

I go through periods of wanting eggs so this is a good week to want them since they are fast and don't heat up the house.  Am going to throw a chicken on the grill shortly so I don't even have to check on it in the heat.

Didn't have my TBD wine last night so may drink it tonight, fell asleep reading last night.

Good idea for the cart, it's not like you do it all the time.

Good morning Barb. Cart definitely sounds like a good idea. Going to be a hot one.

I have mixed feeling about the end of the Panam ParaPan games. It was draining to work and volunteer but it was also fun. Saw some great sports. Sorry Canada lost in 7 aside football yesterday but it was a good game. I met some great people. The venue I was at treated the volunteers great. I will miss some of the people I met.

Today we start planning our camping trip. We leave tomorrow for Bon Echo Provincial Park. Looking forward to some relaxation.

Good morning everyone.  Had a nice night out with DH at the movies.  I managed to sneak in a bag of 100 calorie Skinny Pop and a water.

Today DH and I will be test driving cars again and then we are off to my inlaws for dinner.  These visits are always stressful for both of us because of crazy MIL so please keep me in your prayers.  Tonight we will de-stress in front of the TV.

1 year post op

B. iced decaf coffee, and then 1 slice of rye with 1 egg and 1 slice of bacon and 1 slice of tomato (thanks for the craving guys)

S. another iced coffee

L. Skinny frappuccino

S. half of a protein bar

D. Dinner will be early at the inlaws and I expect it will be sauteed fish for me ( they batter the fish they will eat) salad and fresh fruit.  Food is always good.

S. Probably another iced decaf if the weather is still hot.

Have a great day everyone.

Karen we are in the same boat, I am waiting for a sale on the gnc shakes but there has been none lately.  I went in the other day and they have lowered their regular price to 19.99 per case of 12, which is not bad, same price per shake as the premier protein.  I bought one case but am still waiting for the bogo, if I see it one sale I will post it on here for everyone :0)

I would appreciate that, thank you!

Good to know they've lowered their prices - hopefully that's permanent. I don't mind paying the same as the Premier. :)

Morning all.

Barb be careful in the heat, getting a cart sounds like a great idea. CC i have you in my prayers, lol.

I was sweating last night due to the humidity but i was not hot. Since i'm confined to the bed or the chair, i'm not a happy camper. The knee is coming along nicely and i'm taking less pain meds but, it's slower than i'd like. I want to go back to work, i want to climbs stairs, i want my independence back damn it. Just a little vent as my knee woke up stiff today despite me doing my exercises and resting as much as possible. Tomorrow will be better.

Yesterday's chicken feast proved to much for me and i only had it for bf and dinner. Zizz, you win on that one, lol.

B - 1/2 cup oatmeal with protein, 1 tbsp pb

L - 1/2 cup zucchini, salmon

S - 1oz cheese, 1 peach

D - 3oz veal grilled, 1/2 cup cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms

S - 1/3 cup tuna, celery stick, 1/2 cup milk

Have a great day all and stay cool, Nia
