Wow that is incredible your wait times are absolutely crazy. I was seen in windsor and had my orientation In febrarary , had nurses visit , social work , dietician and Dr. Appt

then cleared by social work, cleared by dietician ,and finally cleared by 2nd MD appt and awaiting my chart to be sent to Guelph all in 7 months

relatively health with no serious issues which makes process much much faster.

Now I assuming it will be a month or 2 till surgery  date and visit with anaesthesia but the process in windsor is much faster

Simon

ps wish you all the best in your journey.

Yup... The waiting is hard for sure.  Make sure you use this time to read and research all you can.  Join a good support group, and get as many tests done ahead of time that you can to avoid delays later.

There doesn't seem to be too many Hamilton patients on this forum.... It's nice to hear from you.

I have been studying  like crazy im big on reviews so i also like to read as many testimonies as possible i always feel u learn more from the people who have gone thru it then research ...at orientation they said you could do some tests so that i dont have to much delay but when i called them after to see what ones i could do they told me not to do any and to wait untill i get my first appointment for my instructions but i think now since its been 4months im goin to call again and see if i can do any tests now

Hamilton is currently booking first appointments for those who had orientation early Sept 2014.  I had my orientation in early Oct so I am impatiently counting down the weeks like many others :)
