Just wondering. Did you ask for a transfer to Dr. Hagen? I have Dr. Starr but my surgery isn't scheduled til March 14.

Hi BuffyMolleson in answer to your question "yes" I also was given a surgery date around the time of yours with Dr Starr. However, during my Trio appts I was advised to ask about a transfer to another surgeon who would be able to give me an earlier surgery date due to a health issue Im having at the moment and they allowed it. I do know now that people are asking doctors directly if they would accept them as a transfer and they are getting moved over with no problem. Dr Starr seems to be the only one booking into 2016 at this point. Hope that helps and best of luck to you.

Did you ask Dr. Starr for the transfer or did you call the Biatric Clinic for the transfer? Thanks for your help. I am going crazy waiting forever

I was actually given the name and number of the manager in charge of surgeon bookings during my trio because they wanted my date moved up due to Dr Starrs long wait but Ive been told by others now that they have been checking with other surgeons first to see if any will take them first, then calling Dr Starrs office asking for a transfer to whichever surgeon agreed to take them. I probably could have done it that way too but was directed by nurse and dietitian to try and change surgeon the only way they knew of I guess? It cant hurt to call and ask. 😊
