Morning all :)

CC, a weekend of Bluesfest sounds awesome, glad you had a good time. Shrimp taco breakfast - one thing I've learned since weight loss surgery is to dismiss assigning certain foods to certain meals. Shrimp is most definitely "breakfast food", just as eggs are "dinner food". ;)

Off to work for the day, very busy week expected so I'll just have to see how today plays out - hopefully everyone plays nicely. lol Have a couple of errands to run at lunch or after work, other than home for dinner and the evening. Boring Monday!

9 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the day -

B - Premier protein shake (vanilla)

S - Source Greek (peach), a few green grapes

L - deli turkey/Swiss/pickle roll-ups (3), deli mustard for dipping (Andrew made these for me and from what I can see through the bag in the fridge, they've become quite unraveled. LOL! A+ for effort)

S - muffin-tin crustless quiche, sliced up with shots of Frank's and a sprinkle of parmesan petals (I may turn this into lunch, now that I've written it I'm craving it)

D - 3-4 oz BBQ chicken, lemon-basil green beans & mushrooms

S - not sure yet, coffee/tea for sure

Have a marvelous Monday!

K. :)

Exhausting weekend. I think I am just going to be tired ll week. Friday went to Taste of the Danforth. Music was great as always. Unfortunately got home late and I had to be at Parapan by 6:00am. We had to sit outside in the cold until I gave up at 2:30. Not enough help so only had a few minutes to get lunch then eat it at the table. Went out to dinner on Saturday night with my brother after coming home for a nap. By 9:00pm I was toast so we went home and in bed by 10:00pm. Then up for Panam at 6:00am again. Home for a nap then my son and his girlfriend for dinner. They were just on their way back from a Scout camp so by 9:00 they were ready to leave. I didn't mind at all cause by  10:00 I was asleep.

So today is work then Panam tonight 4-11pm. I can't see me staying until 11 especially since I have to be up for work tomorrow. I know what some of my meals will be but not dinner. I may eat their food. I just have to be careful because it can be loaded with calories.

b greek yogurt, blueberries, granola

s 2 baby bel

l chicken salad, crackers, watermelon

s snap pea crisps

d ?

s pure protein bar

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Boring food today, had to eat a chicken breast that I cooked on Saturday.  It was my first time trying white meat, it was really good.  Just slow cooked it in salsa.  It was skinless but bone in and it just fell off the bone, nice and moist, no tummy problem!  My leg is slowly getting better, bruising and swelling going down. Have my 3 month f/u appointments this week.  I missed my original ones due to being in the hospital.  I hope the NUT is nice

B- 1 hard boiled egg, 1 turkey bite

L-  1 cup salad with 3oz chopped chicken breast, dressing made with 1tbsp nsa ketchup, 1tbsp calorie wise miracle whip, 1tbsp water.

D- chicken salad with some cucumber and celery slices for scooping

S- sytrax fuzzy naval protein shake

myfitnesspal totals:  calories 603, carbs 18, fat 17, protein 90.

Bye for now
