GNC Total Lean Shakes
Have you tried the GNC shakes? Do you like them, or not so much?
Premier shakes were the only ones I could choke down post-op (the smell of most whey protein shakes makes me sick). As soon as I could get in protein from food sources, I stopped them and I've never gone back. I would love to have a quick shake option (like for breakfast) and have seen these around. I think I will get some to try but just curious about anyone's experience.
LOVE LOVE LOVE them....they are the only ones I drink now. Fave is the Banana Cream...but I have found all to be great. They are buy four get one free right now so if you want try all different flavors to see if there is any you like....at least then you are not wasting money buying a pack of 12 and not drinking them. However the pack of 12 are on sale for 19.00 till the end of August and they do not expire for a year so I have stock piled while they are on sale. Good luck and enjoy trying them...cheers!
Oooooh, they have a BOGO on right now?! I'll have to check it out, I'm running low!

The protein in the GNC Lean shakes 25 g at 170 calories per 414 ml bottle. 2 g of Sugar and 2 g of fiber. But for me much much easier to take than the Premier. Premier has 30 g of protein...160 cal per 325 ml bottle. 1 g of Sugar and 2 g of fiber. Now I have to add this comment. I drink Protein2O water. It is important to keep hydrated so I get 15 g of protein and 2 g of carbs and 70 cal per bottle. I take 3 lean shakes a day and 3 protein water for a total there of 80 g of protein. Then sprinkle a little on my cereal, maybe in my soup and VOILA! within my quota of protein for the day and not gagging.

Protein20 x 3 = 45g
= 120 grams of protein

My fave is the strawberry followed by banana. The vanilla isn't to bad bad works well mixed with decaf sn a little stevie for an iced coffee kind of feel. I absolutely hated the chocolate though. Seeing as I don't like near a Costco these are the best options I have.
They're 25 grams of Protien in I believe 14 Oz. 2g sugar and 6g carbs. They're what I've been stinking since I found out about around 2-3 months post op. :)
