Anyone else in KW go to Dr. Botros for their sleep study?

I went to his clinic and Guelph told me I need another sleep study, so not sure where I'll go for that.

A few doctors have told me to get a followup sleep study to make sure that I don't need one. I stopped using it because the pressure was too high.

I went to Dr. Botros' clinic but was seen by his associate. Everything seemed to be handled appropriately and I think they would have been very careful to do do considering this inquiry was ongoing for some time. I had my pressure reduced to the minimum that was prescribed because it was close to the max when my weight was higher. I don't think I need it anymore but they were happy to hear I was still using it at the bariatric clinic because of the connection between sleep apnea and weight issues. I will continue to use the CPAP until I get retested and the official word that it's not needed. There could be legal implications too if involved in a car accident and it was discovered that I wasn't using the machine (which has a memory to record how often I use it and for how long each night).
I was always suspicious because I had a sleep test from a TMJ specialist before and he said I had very mild apnea and that if I lost 20 pounds it would be pretty much gone. Then Botros basically told me I was on the edge of death every night and just had to have the machine. Funny enough, my prescribed pressure was so low, it limited the model of machine I could choose from because some didn't go that low. I've lost over 100 pounds now I'm pretty confident that if I ever had apnea, I don't have it now and if there ever was some kind of legal issue, the fact that a disreputable doctor made the diagnosis is enough to negate any questions.
I'm skeptical of the whole sleep apnea thing too! I work for family dr and every report comes back saying moderate to severe apnea, mine came back saying that!!!!!!
