Where to find, certain food items?
I live in downtown TO and having trouble finding sugar free Popsicles. Im also wondering if anyone has found protein water? I see some of the Americans posting about it. I buy protein tea (Blu-dot) from Longos. I suppose I could just dissolve some unflavoured protein powder in water +/- SF flavouring.
if you are looking for a particular item, just add it to the list and maybe someone else can help.

You can get freezies, not sure about popsicles. I love lowcarbgrocery, I get all of my sugar free pudding there too.

Oh, I buy from there... I just never thought to check their site for "frozen" items. I guess freezies are room temp in the store, so it totally works.
Thank you!

Right now you can get SF Freezies, but they are a seasonal item. When you can't find SF popsicles, you could make your own. Just mix up crystal light, MIO etc and pour it into molds (now is also a good time of year to get them).
I haven't seen the protein water for a while (not that I've been looking). Jus****ch water that has additive in them (i.e. flavourings, vitamins, protein). I've come across one or two that had warning on them to not drink them if you have specific conditions. I don't remember which ones, but made me start wondering about the water.
IMHO, if you are going to make protein water, might as well just have a shake. If you don't want one that's milky, you can get ones that are like juice. I'm currently drinking a Webber's that's Mango Peach. 4Ever Fit has a selection of flavours. Including iced tea (haven't tried any other than strawberry kiwi which I personally didn't like).

Thanks. These are great tips. I hadn't thought about just making my own SF pops with SF flavourings (now that you mention it, it seems so obvious).
I do watch the labels on the flavoured beverages. As with much of the "healthy" foods on the market, they can be pretty bad. The Blue-Dot tea has whey protein and is SF. I have a hard time finding protein supplements I can tolerate, but that happens to be one. I also like it because it's literally just like tea and isn't thick. I suppose I just have more experimenting to do.

Try the juice protein drinks (I can't drink any protein drinks that look like milk), and you can also add unflavoured protein powder in your regular food to boost the protein amount. Also look up unjury chicken soup. http://www.unjury.com/catalog/category/view/id/13
I haven't tried the soup yet, but I've heard it's good.

Where do you buy the protein ice? If you can give me the name of a specific store, that would help.
I hate to say this, but I can't walk for long periods due to back pain... so, checking out different stores is very painful (literally). Just so you know, I'm not being a diva.

Which store chain do you find the brand? I tried GNC at Eoton Centre, no luck.
