What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)
Thanks Karen, I am sure that I will be ok, it just makes me a little tense thinking about it. Maybe I will write this out, do some cbt to talk back to those feelings.
The most deceptive I find it the no sugar added, which can still have tons of sugar in it from other sources. The other day I looked at some fruit juice freezies and was shocked by the amount of carbs, even thought the package says "no sugar added".
Good idea re. maybe some cbt. I think you know that your feelings are valid though - change is tough, no matter if it makes sense or not.
NSA is deceptive - when dealing with fruit items, it's a good reminder of how much natural sugar is fruit to begin with.
Enjoy your holiday today - tomorrow will come whether we stress about it or not. ;)

Morning all and happy holiday Monday!
I went MIA yesterday - decided later Saturday afternoon to star****ching Orange is the New Black and completely went on a binge marathon. 17 episodes later, in between trips back and forth to my parents as computer tech support and a quick trip to the grocery store, here I am. LOL Andrew got home last night in time for bed and not sure what we'll get up to today - no ONB since he's 17 episodes behind. ;) May hit Costco for some roast chicken salad and coffee cream, otherwise just a quiet day with hopefully no tech support required!
9 years post-op
- coffee with cream x 4 over the day -
B - 1/2 GNC Total Lean (banana)
S - Source Greek (peach), a few green grapes (the grapes this year are the best I've ever had)
L - baked ham&egg cup, tomato slices, maybe 1/2 slice of toast we'll see
S - turkey/swiss/pickle roll-ups (2) dipped in deli mustard, later: other 1/2 protein shake
D - BBQ burger all the fixings no bun (smothered burger)
S - not sure yet, likely just coffee/tea
Have a good one,
K. :)

Afternoon all. Nice day out there today. Sorry for all suffering from the sleep bug, no fun when you can't sleep. I seem to have got last night as well. I was so tired after a 12hr work day but, could not catch any zzz's at all. My whole body aches today and Tylenol and Naproxen for my knee are not helping at all. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
Just some laundry today and trying to rest, might go for a walk later on. Zizz, glad you are back and hope you had a nice getaway. Back to work tomorrow.
