What are you eating/doing today? (Thursday)
Good morning everyone.
Today it's swimming, shopping, and some general cleanup around the house. DH and I are going to a party this evening which is also a BBQ. I will try to make good choices, I know someone is bringing a garden salad so maybe I'll have that with a protein.

Morning all :)
CC, I love mango salad - sweet and spicy and wonderful.
Off to work for the day and it could be a long one - expecting a **** storm this afternoon once I publish an upcoming Committee of Council agenda to the web. Yay me. LOL Ah well. All in a day's work, right? It's Andrew's birthday tomorrow and I am woefully unprepared - will have to do some running around later. AND... my Misfit Shine died after 2 years of constant wear. BOO! I ordered a new one this morning already. lol

To be honest, that thing had been to hell and back as far as general "wear and tear" - I literally never removed the thing from my arm in over 2 years. lol I truly love the Misfit brand and the capabilities it provides, so I'm actually quite happy to purchase another one. (And I chose a different face colour this time - seafoam green, SO PRETTY! And I also splurged and got the silver metal band, so it really does look like jewelry.)

Nope, not a chance! The Misfit tracks any activity with accuracy (and things that a Fitbit often doesn't track accurately, like swimming and biking, etc.), has better water resistance, provides intensity info, tracks sleep with levels of sleep info, doesn't need to be charged (runs on a coin battery that is replaced every 6 months or so), and it truly looks like jewelry, not some rubber thing on my wrist. ;)

Good morning everyone! Cc have fun at the party tonight.
just work and home today, no big woop. I cried at work yesterday it was so stressful, but often this happens when I lose weight, need to check the scale and see.

b - premier protein shake chocolate, I love the new format with the screw cap, so much easier than the old design. Decaf coffee x 2 throughout day
s - breakfast out with friends, probably will get a bunch of sides: bacon, sliced tomatoes, yogurt, maybe baked beans if they have them. Still find fried or boiled eggs just feel blah In my pouch.
l - leftovers from breakfast if any, and/or yogurt with almonds
s - 2 pressed lemon cottage cheese pancakes from the freezer, 1/2 simply protein bar
d - last of the calabrese salad
s - p28 slice, toasted with pb or chees whiz
all water and vits
have a good day everyone!
I made a huge batch and froze them, they turned out really nice. Just took pressed cottage cheese and blended it with true lemon powder, sucralose, a little baking soda, and lots of eggs, a few tbsps of coconut flour, then use blender to process it until it is a batter-like consistency. Fry over medium heat 10 mins per side, I used coconut oil, it worked well. I am sure other flavours would work too. Very filling and tasty with lots of protein!
