I hope you feel better soon. I know how unpleasant that is. I increased my stool softeners and that helped a lot.

I have not faced a problem of such sought but I need to ask how much is your fiber intake regularly.

Consider having more fruits, raw fruits like apple, banana, etc.

I noticed that when I was eating less of fiber associated things like fruits, vegs, etc I had a hard time with my bowel movements.

if I may offer a suggestion ... was or is there any natural food that you try to eat that gives you a bm ??

I have found that there are certain foods that do this for me  and I don't have to take any chemicals for which I'm grateful.

you may have to experiment but if you can go natural.

smile and enjoy your journey .... these are the " interesting  times"

Hi Red

Yes I did have those few things pre-op that would help get the ball rolling.  I'm only on week three....so I haven't had the chance to really incorporate food choices to help " the cause".  I will definitely try that when I have more food choices in the future.   I would soooo much prefer a natural approach !!!    Thanks. :)

When I was first out, I was told I could use MOM and Ducolax suppositories to help clean out.  MOM cleaned me out, but still had a clog, needed the Ducolax which did the trick.  Needed to do it a couple more occasions, but not in a long time.

Hey Cathy

As a matter of fact I took a dose of MOM this morning.  I will do another tonight, and hopefully get myself entirely empty.  I am going to be very careful to try to maintain "flow" with whatever combination of products that I can make work.( I think I have bought them all now!!)

Thanks for your reply       ......... I know a lot of people struggle with this.
