I had my trio at HRRH on Friday got a pass on all three called Dr Hagen to get surgery appointment and they gave me an appointment to see him today and a surgery of August 11, 2015. Left the office with my opti and giant smile on my face. So happy and so ready. Orientation was January 9, 2015. Hope my friend Joanne gets her surgery appointment soon. Happy Day
Yeah. My biggest issue is I am starting back at work in Sept, so I can pu**** back to October but once I start i can only get 1 week off max. I called the other doctors offices to find out the wait times then had Dr. Starr transfer me because of my situation. I think Dr. Starr is fantastic, but I cannot get the time off I need.
5 yrs of research Starting for the second time...Referral Sept 28/17. Orientation Guelph Sept 28/17. Nurse Oct 10/17. Dietician & Social worker Nov. 21/17

I did luck out, but trust me I will post frequently to help others going through this process. I was convinced that I was not getting surgery until 2016 and apparently the Gastric Bypass Gods were watching over me these last few days. I believe that the each of you that have a 2016 date will be pushed up and you will be joining me on the losers bench. OPTI tastes ok, I am sure by the end of the two weeks it will taste not so good but keeping my eye on the prize. Thanks for your support and I am there for all of you on this forum.
HIOM
I got so excited reading your post cause I was just given my 1st apt wih Dr Hagen for August 11th and I was so worried with everyone's crazy wait times I wouldn't be getting surgery till March or April 2016. Conrad's on your date you must be so excited. How was Dr Hagen? I've read a lot about him and he seems to be an amazing Dr. How long was the wait between your 1st apt with Dr Hagen and your trio apt? I wish you luck and hope everything goes smoothly.
Thanks Amanda
