Its been so long post surgery for me that I really cant remember how long you have to wait.  Is the info in your papers from your centre?  If not I would contact them first

Also - decaf only for the first while.  Remember you have stitches and a brand new pouch that require tender loving care for the first few months

Ask yourself why you need the coffee. Sometimes coffee co exists with other habits. I was drinking decaf in the hospital but for me I love the taste it's always been my vice. Probably from years of nights

I was told decaf is fine, also decaf tea as well. I asked dr. Cyriac at the hospital.

How are things going, as we had same day surgery.

Ok great I can drink decaf I think it's a habit I miss it in the morning watching the news... It reminds me of my dad he had done it since I could remember...

Im am doing very good, I still have tenderness  and get tired very fast and sore too especially my back I don't know why? But I've been walking a lot trying to do some light house work.  Do you need to make an appointment to see Dr. Cyraic for 2 weeks??

I called his office and dont need to go see him. I had all my testing done at TWH, I called them yesterday, and I will be sent a one month appointment in the mail in the next week or so . I called the Bariatric clinic and they informed me what to do next.

Im feeling very good, going out shopping today and looking forward to it. Hubby is coming with me because can't lift too much.

I do have a nap during the day, and not taking anymore pain meds at all. A bit tender on the left side, but not bothersome at all.

They say a sore back can be from gas...

No more pain meds either. Pain is on the left when ever I get pain... More walking then... I think I'll do shopping tomorrow.

Thats awesome, and the left side is where most the inside work was done, hence the tenderness. Glad you are doing well.

I am not going to step on the scale until Friday, then every Friday after that. I have been told not to step on it everyday, that way you see a bigger progression. But to each their own I guess. Im going to be strict with myself about weighing.

I drank coffee in the hospital, decaf, of course.  I still drink decaf at home, regular coffee when I'm out.  I drink it whenever, whenever.

8 days out I would definitely stick to decaf though.
