5 Weeks Out - Beautiful NSV

Today I went for my one month follow up appointment, and had my vitals checked. In the 5.5 weeks since surgery, my blood pressure is now PERFECT! I went from pre-hypertension to completely normal, 120/80 .. I couldn't believe it.

I asked the nurse to take my blood pressure twice and then we hugged!

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

That alone is well worth the surgery.

For myself, I want to remember that feeling 5, 10, 15 years out so I never slide backward.
