Hey everyone!

Ive been lurking around here a long time but this is my first post. Referred in 2012 but listened to the unsupportive ppl and backed out. This go round Ive surrounded myself with supporters and I have a surgery date of August 18th in Guelph. Cant wait to join the bench!!

Wishing you well in the 18th. I am going thru Ottawa too...just wondering how long after your surgeon appt until you got the call with the date. Eager to get going.

HI There!

I went to the surgical consult with Dr. Yell on June 2nd and got the final date on July 10th. I have to admit however that I called the scheduling nurse on a regular basis until she gave me the date (I needed it to make arrangements for coverage at my work). It's been surreal ever since to believe it's finally going to happen!

keep me posted on your progress - and hopefully you get your date soon!
