Looking for suggestions of snacks that have Protien but don't need to be kept cold.  a little for travel but mostly for work since there's no fridge there. Also I'm 5.5.5 months out

Thanks ahead of time! You all rock.

Costco has those little almond packets, I find them a nice size for a snack.  They also have smart protein bars and simply protein bars, both are really nice, I almost always have one of them in my purse in case of emergency.  If you bring plain protein powder you can "proteinize" just about anything, that can be really useful, I like to do that with decaf coffee and high fibre lower carb cereal.  I often bring cheese strings, they will keep no problem for a day unrefrigerated.  I have been packing a slice of p28 bread and putting some pb and nsa jam on it, makes a good quick lunch, 20g protein per slice!  You could freeze a protein shake and it will stay cold for a long time that way, if you like the cold.  Veggies like peppers, cucumbers, etc, just bring a knife and cut them up.  Those little flavoured tunas are handy as well.  I am always looking for new snacks that keep, so I am interested in what people come up with!

Thanks.  unfortunately anything Costco related is out of the question since I don't live near one.

And my work allows water only so I can't add Protien shakes or powder to much.... otherwise I'd just take a shake on ice with me.

Fruit will keep on your desk for a few days.  Raisons.  Oatmeal (I have some at work and make it there). Beef jerky. nuts. tuna salad kits. PB, nuts, protein mix & shaker.  Some have roasted beans. Kale chips.

If I think of more, I'll add later.

I currently don't work anywhere with a desk.  lol. And my work has a water only policy.... other than that most days I work about 4 hours or 5... sometimes a 9 hr shift.... no in between.  lol

My center told me I am absolutely not to go more than e gourd without a snack.... with my job this could be difficult. .. so looking for something small I can snack on on a 15 minute break is proving challenging.

Ocean's has tuna snack kit. There is another brand that has tuna and chicken kits. i have found them great for a lunch. Dried chick peas with seasoning are great for snacks. A thermos with chili or other left overs.

Those small Motts apple sauces don't need to be refrigerated, pepperettes, celery sticks and add one of those individual peanut butters.

I don't have a fridge where I work either but I just bring an insulated lunch bag with an ice pack in it to keep my food cooled. Maybe that would be an option for you too?
