Exercising after surgery?

Anyone know how long after surgery you would be able to walk on a treadmill or an elliptical?

i am pretty sure you can use a treadmill a few days after. they want you walking and only walking. The nurse told me 6 plus weeks for the elliptical.

Referral Feb 14 2014; Orientation July 30 2014; 1 on 1's Feb 17, 2015; Pre op May 27 2015; Surgery date June 16, 2015
