Good morning everyone.  It seems the insomnia bug hit me.  I would get things done around the house but I'm afraid I'll wake up DH.

Did a little work in the garden yesterday so today I might go to the garden centre and buy some plants to fill in where the weeds used to be.  Might go swimming today, we'll see how I feel in 4 hours with little sleep.

Good morning everyone. Congrats on your one year CC. I am not at Pan AM today so must run errands and do laundry. I was going to swim but I need energy for everything else. I started a new probiotic. It is great for regularity but leaves me feeling a little bloated. I thought i had gained weight but the scale has not moved. I will give it a bit more time but not liking this bloating.

Hey CC.

Those wraps are also great as crepes.  Just make then thinner.  I have done them with ham and cheese, as well as ricotta and diced mango (with cinnamon and splenda) or some other berry (nut at Guelph says I have to eat more fruit  :)   I am so glad that Zizz found us those to enjoy!

eta:  weird...I was replying directly to CC's post, and it popped me here...its the ghost in the machine again..

Good morning everyone!  I had my 3 year follow up at TWH this week and am trying to implement their recommendations.  My blood work came back deficient across the board.  My supplementation has been increased yet again (I've had problems since 1 year post op) so we'll see what this next year brings.  I've been physically exhausted since surgery and while the calorie count is on the lower side, the nurse recommended increasing my carbs.  I'm going to give it a try for a bit and see how it goes.  I'm striving for a 2:1 ratio of protein to net carbs (I know, many of you consider a carb a carb but thus far, no stool softener or supplement works so it's good old fibre cereal for me).  This dietary change should be an interesting with the hypoglycemia and the gout.  I've been on anti inflammatory medication since June 27th with only minimal relief (I can now wear a shoe and sleep with my foot on the bed).

B - 100g Liberte 0% Greek yogurt, 20g Fibre One cereal

S - 42g light cheddar cheese

L - 113g cranberry almond chicken salad

S - 100g cucumber, 30g light feta cheese, 2 tbsp Calorie Wise Greek dressing

D - 100g shrimp, 2 tbsp seafood sauce, 85g brussel sprouts

S - chocolate protein shake

Totals

828 calories, 26g fat, 63g carbs, 17g fibre, 30g sugar, 92g protein

Hey,

Glad to hear the gout is (somewhat) improving - I can only imagine the pain you've been in. I hope the amended food plan brings you some relief!

P.S. I don't recommend wearing a shoe and sleeping with food on your bed.
