I can't believe it's here everyone wow it went fast. It's been a full year and now tomorrow I will be on the bench!!! Thank you for all the information, this forum has been the best!! Wish me luck.

Good luck. I had my surgery there over four years ago with Dr. Aarts. :-)

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

I had surgery with Dr cyriac on April 21st. He's amazing!! You are in good hands and thr nurses are great. Oh and the bed was huge and comfy lol. Moving over to make room on the bench!!!

blueeyes this is great news! I had my surgery at TEGH with Dr. Aarts, a colleague of Dr. Cyriac's (they work together I think). I had great care there - mostly everyone was so wonderful. Let us know how you're doing as soon as you are able! All the best to you for a speedy recovery and remember to walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip. xoxo
