Good morning everyone.  Birdiegirl where do you get your hot chocolate?  I had to order mine online, and it was called Swiss miss.

Woke up at 2am and had my vitamins and shake then back to bed for a few more hours.  I went to bed at 9pm last night I was so exhausted.  Just work and possibly the gym tonight or I might do gardening for an hour instead if it's nice out.  Think I will be returning the pure protein bars, I find them too sweet.  I had one f each kind, do you think Costco will still let me return it?

Just realized that I am 11 months post-op today!

B - gnc protein shake strawberry, decaf coffee x 3 throughout the day

s - plain greek yogurt with sf juicy gel added, 1 tbsp almonds, 1/2 of a banana

l - cucumber slices with chicken cranberry almond salad

S - an jalapeño cheese stick, mini skinny bites chicken bites (not my Favourite but will finish the pack) or same as morning snack, depend on my mood

D - sf raspberry lemonade, later...1 slice p28 bread toasted with chees whiz

s - boccichini? Balls with greek feta on cucumber slices

all water and vits

have a nice day!

Good morning all. So glad not to be at the games for 5:30 this morning. By the time I got home last night I was so tired. Went to bed about 8:00pm and slept through to 6 this morning. I realised yesterday the pain I was having in my hip and knee was cause by the panam back pack. The weight was resting on my bad hip. So back to my old one today. At work this morning then panam at 3:00pm to 9:30. A little more to do yesterday so made the time go faster. The arena where we are stationed is beyond hot, especially the small office where my computer is. Nice getting out to the fields yesterday just for fresh air.

b greek yogurt, granola, raspberries

l tofu with tahini (made by a co-worker)

s snap peas crisp

d do not know will be provided for me or I will eat what I brought

s pure protein bar if needed

I will adjust as I find what I am eating

You are a good person Pat....take care of yourself eh?  I have been breaking down lately and taking a tylenol before bed to help me sleep - takes the worst of the pain away from hips.  I am so sick of sleeping on my back all of the time

It is amazing that something as simple as a pack pack can through off your walk. I take 2-3 tylenol arthritis but last night a little wied helped me sleep. Not the best solution but I sure slept. LOL

Thanks Pat, I am glad to be back on solid food.  I'm not going to lie some days were hard, but it did get easier.  Today I woke ravenous.  So egg and turkey sausage seemed to fit the bill, and so far no issues.  I think I will have this more often.  Sorry that your back is hurting from the backpack.  Hopefully it starts feeling better soon.
