Frustrated! Nothing they said to expect has happened.

Thanks guys.  I'll obviously keep trying, since there's no other option, really.  I also know I can't compare myself to others, but it's hard not to when you feel behind.  It's just going so much slower than I was expecting or that I was told.  I have my 3 month followup soon and I'm honestly worried that they'll think something is wrong.

I'm trying to just think of it as a stall and working through it, I just really hope it ends soon.  I can't see the difference in myself at all even though I'm now lighter than I've been in years. Yay body image issues. :/

It took losing 100 lbs before I noticed.. everyone else seemed to notice way before me. I almost cried when I finally went down a dress size... lol

Seriously...take your measurements and take photos.  Also try and pay close attention to how your clothes are fitting and how you are physically feeling.  It took me a few months to realize that I could climb my basement stairs without my knees screaming.  Take comfort and reassurance in the small things...the bigger things will fall into place.

60 lbs is darn good!!! Some ppl lose faster than others. I plateaued for 3 weeks around the 3 month mark.  Keep doing what you're doing, at least you're going down and not up :) :). Don't ru**** it will come off. I kind of went through the same thing and I am not losing fast but i'm thrilled with my progress. I don't really want to lose too fast anyways b/c I don't want to get ahead of this body of mine..lol .....i don't cheat, but i feel FABULOUS.

Keep it up!

As an update to this, today I was cleaning out some old clothes I had in storage, these are clothes that haven't fit me in years.  I decided to actually try them on and not only did they fit me, many of them were actually too loose.  That gave me a huge surge of confidence.

There you go - a positive for you. Everyone has given you sound advice and honestly, I think you just had an emotional moment. All of this is hard and it can be disheartening when things don't happen as quickly as we would like it to. Remember you're in for the long haul - weight loss and improved health doesn't happen instantly.
