What are you eating/doing today? (Thursday)

Good morning everyone.  I was up at 4:00 this morning and it was intentional.  DH has to catch an early morning flight, so I was up to make sure that he got up and out the door.

Today it's swimming, I have some appointments this afternoon, general housecleaning while DH is away, and maybe a nap later.  My first cup of coffee is down, the Roomba is doing it's thing in the bedroom, lol, and I'm getting my post in early.

I am a week away from my 1 year surgiverary, and what suggestions do you have on how I could celebrate?

11 months post op

S. Greek yogurt

L. half of an egg, spinach and feta wrap

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :)

CC, hard to believe a whole year has passed - time flies when you're shrinking ;) As part of your "celebration", my suggestion for your one-year is a personal reflection task. Go to your "post history" (MY OH --> Post History) and click and read your very first post here on Obesity Help. Take a moment to reminisce about the "old days" and celebrate how far you've come since then. :)

Off to work for another day filled with fun and frivolity, Costco after since I didn't make it there yesterday, not sure what else I'll get up to.

9 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the day -

B - Premier protein shake (vanilla)

S - Source Greek, a few grapes, sprinkle of toasted almonds

L - muffin-tin crustless quiche sliced up, topped with parmesan petals and Frank's and nuked 'til hot and melty

S - probably the same as lunch

D - BBQ burger all the fixings no bun, cherry tomatoes from the garden ( so sweet and yummy!)

S - likely just coffee/tea

Have a fabulous Friday Junior!

K. :)

Morning everyone.  Cc I love Karen's idea about reviewing you posts over time, that sounds really cool!  How about going to a spa?  I did that on my bday and felt like a million bucks after.

Just work then home and the gym.  I saw a pre-screening of the movie face/less and it was quite good, Sir Ben Kingsley is in it, a nice surprise.

CC I get up at 3 am on Mondays to see DH off to Toronto for the week, its not fun...lol

I like Karen's suggestion for you 1 year surgiversary. For my 1 year, I looked at old pictures and reflected on what I had learned about myself in the last year.

It does go by very fast....

Well, i'll be. It's almost year already? Time fly's for sure. As for how to celebrate, I'd go for a new wardrobe. Depends if you like shopping or not, i know i'd enjoy it. Or do something you couldn't do when you were heavier. Like horse riding etc.

Happy almost first.
