Day 7 of Opti
Hi Everyone,
So Opti has been hard and I thought this would be the easy part of it all, but I was wrong I literally cried on Saturday and I then I took a long walk away from the house and everyone in it just to think. When I came back my daughter asked me if I was ok and I explain to her that this is such a great gift I have been given, and I just don’t want to mess it up. She looked and said to me “mom if you can do 5 days without eating you have already began to be successful! She is my biggest supporter her and my husband and always helping and encouraging me… It’s been hard I will say, but I am incredibly excited for next Wednesday!! And that’s what I keep looking at thru this Opti phase is this is the beginning of a new and healthier ME!! I can’t wait to be on the bench with you all that are there.
Did anyone emotionally breakdown?
How do I do my weight scale on my profile?
I completely lost it on Opti. I hated every second of it and cried more than once. Just know that it DOES end and you will never, ever have to do it again. And believe it, though it might not seem like it now - it is worth every mouthful, every tear and moment of stress.
You've got this. You can do it.
TES
I don't remember having a breakdown. Actually, I miss Opti. Maybe not the taste (although to me the chocolate wasn't that bad) but I miss the not planning, and not thinking of what to eat. But I do know that for some it's harder. Just keep "your eye on the prize". And remember, this will just make the next eating phase taste that much more wonderful!
As for putting your weight scale on your signature, go to Health Tracker, and Signiture. Add Tickers & Wickets. Updating your weight will show on the scale as you go.

I didn't mind being on opti..and I had to do it for 3 weeks..
I did have challenges though...on my fourth day of opti my best friend decided she just had to have a big mac, and ate it in the car beside me. I kept my eye on the prize, and realized that life around me doesn't stop just because I had chosen a new and healthier path. 13 months later, over 120lbs down and I am stronger than ever. You have got this. You have one week to go, and you will do great.
Good luck.

I am on Opti right now...I have it only for a week which is a blessing. It's only Wednesday but I dont find it too bad...I have been making like a pudding out of it and I rather like it...the chocolate taste like chocolate ice cream and you feel like you are eating....not drinking....just make sure to drink the water you don't add to the shake so you get enough water in....hang in there...

Hi
We are having surgery on the same day @ TEGH. I am on my 3rd week of opti, and honestly, I have not had any issues. I was missing the crunch factor, so I bought sugar free freezies, what a life save they have been, along with the sugar free jello and chicken broth, I am good.
I have not had any breakdowns at all.
You will be just fine.
Maybe I will meet you next Wednesday.
