You should try it CC, i think you'd like it. As for the flying ants, just log under protein in MFP, those baby's pack a bunch, lol.

Yum to the pb in oatmeal, I am totally trying that.  Flying ants sounds exciting, I have heard crickets are good roasted, is that what is done to prepare the ants?  What part of Africa are you from?  I know a few people from Botswana. Organ meats I am not so familiar with, except Turkey giblets and natural sausage casings.  I have tried liver before but not post op yet.  Also tried tripe and chicken feet, both were ok.

Your menu looks good!

Cottage cheese with pesto sounds like an awesome combo, do you heat it up or eat it cold?  Also, is vega protein a vegetarian protein?  My sister is vegetarian and is looking for a good one.  Does it curdle when heated like whey protein?  Sorry about all the questions but I love seeing new food items, makes me happy :0)

Cottage cheese with pesto is really tasty! I get the olive pesto as it has less fat than the nut pesto. No I don't heat it up but I'd bet that would be good. I also add it to ricotta.

Vega is a vegetarian protein, I picked it up because it was the only unflavored protein powder at my grocery store and turns out I really like it. Nope it doesn't curdle at all.

Roma, there is a lady who often posted on this thread (where did she go?!) and she regularly ate cottage cheese and ketchup. Ketchup! Used to make me laugh (and shudder a little lol).
