I find that I try to fight the anesthesia whenever I go under, I have no idea why I do this, lol. As mentioned in another post, bring lip balm, a book, slippers that are easy to slip on, and wear loose clothing. Pillows for the ride home in the car will make for a more comfortable ride home. Good luck!

I think we were in the same nutrition class a few months ago. I was so impressed by you -- you had clearly done your homework and showed tremendous dedication. I understand pre-op is 3 hours (mine is at the end of the month) -- so take your water and have a snack available. Don't forget about those nasty HOV lanes for the Pan Am Games -- if there are 3 of you in your vehicle, you can use them!
