Premium Protein Shakes in Toronto
Costco is the only place you can get them in the GTA. They have both chocolate and vanilla and are $29.99 per case of 18.

I also don't have a membership (or a car and I'm downtown TO so never go to CostCo because I'm too lazy to lug heavy stuff home on the subway). I stumbled upon Costco's website selling the shakes online only to realize it was the U.S. Site and they don't ship within Canada.
Just wanted to mention to avoid the momentary glimmer of hope for you, too.

I saw the US site -- very cheap in the states! How bizarre that in order to get the best product - I will have to pay $50 membership for the palace of bulk food items! If I do this, must go on a day when they don't have sample ladies/gents tempting me with food. That would be hell! I am in the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood but going to Haliburton for most of July. I have a car -- if I end up going to maybe I can grab some for you, you can p/u from me and take it home in a cab.
i love the sample ladies - a bariatric dream! a bite of everything lol... then I dont have to worry about wanting a hot dog and pop cause I am full of samples
Oh, that would be lovely! Thanks for the offer. I'm near Yonge & Wellesley so that's a very doable trip, I love St Lawrence market.
I am irked in general about the price difference in the US vs Canada.
I did buy some Syntrax after one of the ladies in this forum recommended it. It has 24g protein and 0g carbs per scoop. Of course, it's not premade like the shake we are talking about... But an option I wanted to mention in case you weren't aware of it. http://www.thelowcarbgrocery.com/catalog/advanced_search_res ult.php?keywords=syntrax

I like it a lot. It is the first protein shake I can keep down. I have tried 5 others before this. Luckily I have friends who lift weights and apparently gave stomachs of steel... They can drink any shake and got my rejects. 😄
