Lapband to Gastric Bypass revision with Dr. Hagan

Good Morning !, has anyone had a revision from Lapband to Gastric bypass with Dr. Hagan?

I have not. But Dr. Hagen was my RNY surgeon over 9 years ago - fabulous surgeon, you're in excellent hands.

Hello.  I currently have a lapband and saw Dr.Hagen last year. He referred me to the program and I have my 1stofficial surgeon appt with him on July 15th. My family doctor rreferred me to him and said he was an excellent surgeon. I was originally scheduled to go through TWH, but chose to wait through HRRH delays in order to hopefully have him as my surgeon for the RNY.

I had a revision surgery from lapland to gastric bypass with Dr. Hagan.  I had extreme GERD and spent the last 3 years sleeping upright in a chair as I would aspirate almost every night on food.  Dr. Hagan was amazing.  I sometimes felt rushed when I visited him in the office and would often leave with questions I didn't have time to ask but at the hospital he was very attentive and took the time to explain the surgery and put me at ease. He came out and sat with me prior to the surgery for a few minutes to explain step by step what was going to happen and the surgery went smoothly.  I had issues with extreme gas pain and came to see me right away in the hospital.  He has also been very responsive to return calls when I had a concern and was able to confirm all was well.  I don't regret anything except that I wish I could turn back the clock and do this 10 years ago.  You are in good hands with Dr Hagan.
