Good morning everyone.  Woke up at 5:00, and can`t get back to sleep.

Today will be a busy one.  First it`s swimming, then back to paperwork, drive to Stratford to see a musical, drive home, household drudgery, then try to get an early night.

11 months post op

B. Large decaf, also an iced protein coffee

S. Protein shake

L. Grilled asparagus salad with shaved parmesan on top

S. Protein bar before the theatre

D. Chicken and veg

S. Sweetened ricotta with fresh blueberries

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

Morning

CC you must do accounting?  I see you do paperwork almost every day.  Enjoy the theatre

 

Another night of little sleep so I hope insomnia isn't going to rear its head again.  Leaving for a golf tournament early this morning.  I have no idea what lunch will be so I have inputted 500 calories worth of cobb salad and hopefully it will be something I can deconstruct enough to make it good wls food

STEPS - forgot to check my fitbit - guessing around 5000

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     premier protein shake

 

S on course - 1 apple and 1 oz hard parmesan

 

L - Cobb salad

 

D - tomato/onion/pepper and feta salad- 1 cup

    5 oz grilled chicken

 

S - Source dessert yogurt and a Jello pudding with whip topping

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,183,  Carbs - 86 grams,  Fat - 42 Grams,  Protein - 114 Grams

 

All water and vits

What a perfect menu for a summer day - love your lunch and dinner! Do you season your tomato/onion/pepper/feta salad or toss it with anything?

I have made this my entire wls career and never tire of the wonderful flavor.  Its really greek without the lettuce or cucumber.  I toss it with a TB of Paul Newmans oil and vinegar or parmesan and garlic dressing.  It gets better sitting.  I add lots of vidalia onions and season with lots of fresh ground pepper.  so low cal and delish

Yes, I've admired it on your menu for years. lol

I make the same, usually minus the peppers (but I do love that) and plus cucumber and toss it with a little Renee's Greek vinaigrette and extra oregano.

Cc same thing happened to me, my eyes popped open at 530 and I could not sleep any more. It is hard to get used to that, I have always needed so much sleep for as long as I can remember.  Work today and I really need to go to the gym, I have not gone in several days now and I really feel it, it's like I have too much energy and it needs to be released.  Maybe I will do stairs at lunch if I feel top tense.

10 months post op

b - 1/2 strawberry gnc lean protein shake, xl coffee...later 1/2 protein shake

s - 3 lc chocolate pumpkin seed squares

l - 1/3 cucumber and jalapeño cheese

s - 2 pumpkin squares, later... 1/2 vanilla gnc protein shake

D - stewed mushroom tomato onion garlic from the crockpot, leftover roasted chicken from the freezer

s - more of dinner if hungry

Morning all,

Hope everyone has a good day! I am off to the gym this morning then home for laundry and such chores.

I need to do a little grocery shopping for the dog as well as DH and I. Then back to the gym this evening w a wls friend so she can join and I will do another light workout :)

B sm banana w/ tsp PB protein coffee

S after workout homemade protein shake (1cup)

L 2 turkey tacos wrapped on lettuce

D same as lunch

S tea
