Holy Crap.  No wonder my pouch rejects it.  Since my rny I tend to stick to foods that are in its natural state.  I find a lot of processed food makes me ill (nsa pudding etc- I could eat that at the post op soft food stage but not now).  I have not tried ice cream and won't as I don't want to open Pandora's box.

I do very periodically have ice cream but I only buy hagen Daz. It is the only truly natural one. Anything else has me running for the washroom within an hour.

Breakfast unsweetened apple sauce with unflavoured protein powder

snack premier protein with some decaff coffee mixed in

Lunch no name cheddar cheese soup with unflavoured protein powder

snack premier protein shake with decaff coffee

Supper left over cheddar cheese soup with unflavoured protein powder

 

At 8 days post op what is the total calories i should be getting in? i use myfitnesspal regularly but keep feeling like im over eating and then once i sit down with the bowl of food i feel like im not getting enough?  Is this normal.  last night my total calories was 565

Referral Feb 14 2014; Orientation July 30 2014; 1 on 1's Feb 17, 2015; Pre op May 27 2015; Surgery date June 16, 2015

Your menu looks good. Do not worry about calories at this point just get in as much protein and water as you can

Morning all. Sorry Barb for the sleepless night, at least you get to visit your old work today. That's always fun.

20 months post op

B - scrambled egg, roast beef

L - pumpkin pancake, 1/2 tbsp pb

S - turkey breast and cheese roll up

D - 2-3oz smoked pork shoulder, 1/3 cup black beans

S - cappuccino, rest of dinner

Totals: 768cal, 37 carbs, 31 fats, 83 protein
