I had the test and didn't pass.. My husband smokes and still did around me but the second hand smoke was there... I had to get him to stop smoking around me to be retested and was fine! Believe me you can't lie the test will show it!

I was under the impression that TWH required everyone to be tobacco free for 3 months before starting the process. If that's the case and you've been smoke free for 22 days, no you won't pass I don't think.

22 days is amazing though,  you are over the worst of it.

Good luck! I quit last summer and it was hard but i feel so much better.

It's so interesting to me that so many people are tested. I never was. I just had my surgery on July 9, but was never tested for nicotine. Thankfully I quit a number of years ago, but I wonder why they test some people and not others. It seems to cause a lot of anxiety for many who have quit, but are tested. Good luck with everything and congratulations on 22 days smoke free!!!

They told me when they did my test (urine test) that they had a lot of people lying about smoking cessation in order to get surgery so I think they test everyone now.

I had quit 6 months before orientation but they never tested me.  Is it only through urine test?  Congrats on quitting, it is a huge accomplishment :)
