GOT MY SURGERY DATE!!!
July 20, baby!!! Dr. Penner is my for sure surgeon. Having the Sleeve, just better for my health, and starting Optifast this coming Tuesday for about 4 weeks. So freaking HAPPPY!!!!! Eeeeek.

Thank you!!! There no chance for me because I have to do Opti for 4 weeks, which I am good with. There could still be a chance that they call me in early though. I wanted the sleeve, wither or, but he did recommend it. Just to be safe!!!

They recommended the Sleeve because I have ulcers in my small intestine, covered in them, and the fact that I might have Crohns disease. They are afraid that if they give me the RNY that it will cause damage, and I will have to get part of my intestine removed. The other reason, is because I have a high BMI. Its just safer!!! I'm thrilled about how close it is!

He is a busy doctor, and is head at bariatrics @ TWH, so very busy. Today I met with one of his associates, all awesome, and frankly I don't care who ends up doing the surgery, they are all amazing.
