Onions, seasoning, onion soup mix if I have any handy. I'm a sucker for pork roast. I usually throw in some root veggies, carrots.. rutabaga, etc.

Mmg that sounds good, how long do you cook it for?  I am going to buy some carrot and turnip this weekend and totally do that.

All day lol, I put just a bit of water at the bottom to steam it up a bit you know? I'm not sure if there's a better method for it, but it works for me. Also, I layer the onions at the bottom and sit the roast on top because my cooker isn't the greatest and tends to burn a bit. Also, sometimes I'll sprinkle ginger and a bit of salt on the roasted carrots - yummy.

Seyenna I plan on joining the YMCA in September with my hubby.  How are you finding it so far?  Do you do any of the classes?

Hi Dreamy. I had a YMCA membership and i loved it. I really enjoyed the classes as they are really challenging and you can feel the difference after you've been to one. They change it up every 6 weeks so you can introduce new stuff to your muscles, well the cardio blast class i used to attend. I also enjoyed Zumba. You really get bang for your bucks at the Y i think. Too bad i had to suspend mine because of my knee issue.

I'm loving it so far. With my work schedule all I'm doing right now is lane swimming, but I definitely feel it.

Good morning everyone.   Your menus have some great ideas.

I'm starting to get a little embarrassed when people point out my weightloss. I was in a crowded store and a friend saw me a yelled "Look at you" twice. If course everyone turned to look at me.   This is the second time in a week this has happened.   My only response was to say the same thing back to them.

Today DH and I are going to a pool party this afternoon.   I am bringing bruchetta skewers so I know there will be something for me to eat. Tonight we are going to a local music festival.   I love listening to live music outside in the summer.
