What are you eating/doing today? (Saturday)

Not me, but I guess that depends on what you would call a "normal sized person portion". Most "normal sized" people I know, who have not had WLS, are able to eat a fair amount more than I can.

Thats so true Karen. Some skinny people can EAT A LOT. I think the NUT was more towards normal serving according to the Canada food guide. I was told to always stay at 1 cup maximum per meal.

The size 2 girl who sits beside me at work told me the other day she has always had trouble gaining weight so she has to eat a lot just to keep from going unhealthily thin.  So the reverse of our problem does exist, but somehow I had little sympathy for her lol.

I just had a look at the Canada food guide's definition of a meal and I do not think there is any way I will ever be able to eat that much post op:  http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/food-guide-aliment/using-utilis er/count-calcul-eng.php

It is like 4 cups+ of food if you include the milk!  My nut told me 1 cup per meal is perfect for now at 10 months, but did not mention 1 cup as a max indefinitely.  I will ask at my next appointment with my nut.
