Nia sorry that you lost your Dad, but I know that if he were here he would be so proud of all that you have done.  You have made an amazing transformation.

Thanks CC and Zizz. He would be so proud as he used to really concerned about my health and i was bigger than him and he was a big man himself. It makes it harder as i'm from Africa and due to politics, i last saw him and my mom 2007 and he never saw the new me. Blessed because my mom is still alive and is so proud. Hopefully she can come soon and see me in person.

Good morning everyone.  Barb enjoy your time up north, and don't forget the bug spray.  Karen, it's time to invest in a good set of earplugs (you will get used to them in no time and it will save your sanity).  Also Karen, I love your dinner choices, it's one of my fav summertime meals.

Today it's swimming, paperwork, gardening, household drudgery.  May be going out tonight for dinner and live music, it will be up to DH.

B. Large decaf and an iced protein coffee

S. Skinny latte

L. 3 leftover chicken wings from last night`s dinner at the restaurant (DH ate his dinner and started in on my chicken wings, lol)

S. Sweetened ricotta with some frozen black cherries and a small sprinkle of pumpkin granola so that it`s a little like a cannoli

D. If we go out, it will be beef brisket, salad, and maybe pico de gallo, if we stay in, it will be breakfast for dinner.

S. 3 pretzel crisp crackers with a smear of cream cheese and some smoked salmon on top.

Have a great day everyone.

Those chips are a little too addictive for me. Beanitos aren't bad, lower in carbs and higher in fibre without me wanting to finish the bag. Crackers made of only cheese (jalapeño - yum) are good for dipping too. The yogurt bowl is a great idea.

Not addictive for me but do like that crunch with the salsa.  Normally I make my own but I indeed had Beanitos (a whole 3 of them) which I bought from the Low Carb Grocery.   For 21 chips it's:

250 Calories, 13 g of Fat, Carbs 27 g, Fibre 9 grams and Sugar 0 grams.  Protein is 7 grams.

Divide all of this by 7 for me as I only had 3 and you get: Calories 35, Fat 1.86 grams, Carbs 3.86 g, Fibre 1.29 and sugar 0 grams.  1 gram of protein.

What can I say?  I need the fibre woo hoo!

hahaha.
