Barb, enjoy your "zippo" day - few and far between, enjoy the lack of "musts". :)

Morning all.

I can relate on the closet Karen. I hate mine too. Everything is too big and nothing ever looks right and everything sags. At least i get comfort in that i need a new closet. Today my menu is weird as i have bits and pieces leftover from meals last week.

19 months post op

B - pumpkin pancake, 1/2 tbsp pb

L - 1/2 scotch egg, 1/4 flat out pizza

S - 1/2 protein bar, 1oz tilapia

D - 2oz pork chop, 1/4 cup butter squash

S - cappuccino, rest of pork chop

Have a great day all, Nia.

Nia, I know exactly what you mean re. too big, too saggy in this spot but too tight in this spot, doesn't sit right on the body - frustrating! But I've (almost) resigned myself to the fact that I'm aging and what looked good on me 5 years ago sometimes just doesn't. ;)

Good morning all. Barb enjoy your nothing day. I took some time on Sunday to read even though I really should have been cleaning.

Got a call from my son last night. He is taking his dad to a ribs and beer event on Sunday for Fathers Day and then we are actually invited back to his apartment. I have bought a child's ticket for me, just ribs no beer. The people running it said this was okay. I am thrilled. With volunteering the last couple of weekend and this one as well, I was not looking forward to cooking and cleaning. This will be my last volunteer hours until July.

I did not make it swimming yesterday. I think I will do Tuesday and Thursday this week. I have an echo stress test tomorrow so will not have time to swim before hand.

DH is off today and making dinner. He did not know what he wanted to make so my menu is not complete.

b greek yogurt, granola, blueberries

s banana with peanut butter

l chicken with salsa, yogurt

s turkey pepperette

d ?

Will have to add dinner then decide on evening snack. Was off the rails yesterday so need to behave today.

I see myself in your comment " I should have been cleaning"...why do we rarely allow ourselves time just to do nothing?  This is one of the reasons I love Florida in the winter as I have few responsibilities.

As my mother always told me..."work is never done so enjoy when you can"

I did feel just a little guilty. By the way if you are going to a movie, I just saw Spy and it was great!

I did SFA on Sunday at the cottage.  I sat in my lazy boy with my ereader and read 2 books and drank a couple of pots of coffee.  Was a beautiful day outside so had the windows open and watched the wildlife when I'd take a breather.  Sat outside for a few hours too just reading.  We all need a nothing day :)
