Morning all :)

I'm declaring this "Make a Complaint Tuesday" - let it out and let it go!

Here are mine, albeit completely childish and ridiculous: I hate my wardrobe despite the fact that it's new, I hate that I hate my wardrobe - because new!, my hair cut is far from stellar and too short, but thank you lady from work who pointed out I look better with my hair longer - you summed up my feelings about it perfectly and P.S. I don't like your hair either, I'm tired and it's only Tuesday which leads me to my next complaint - it's only Tuesday.  I'll come back later with more. lol  On a positive note, I was a tiny bit honoured see my recipe on the front page of the OH site - thank you OH. :)

Off to work (there's another one lol) for another fun-filled day, home for dinner (but I took nothing out thus far - there's another), not sure what else! I'm hoping the weather clears soon as I would sincerely love for my back patio garden to be complete and I'm more than slightly irked with the mud pit for the past 2 weeks - 2 weeks!

Thank you, I feel better.  Have a fabulous day :)

9 years post-op

B - Premier protein shake

S - Source Greek (cherry), a few grapes

L - tuna salad, mixed greens, pickle slices

D - stir fry veggie bag and "some sort of protein" - likely chicken

S - not sure yet

Have a good one,

P.S. Here's another one - I am irked that the "like" button is next to the "edit" button and I've inadvertently "liked" my own damn post.

Wow Karen!  I was just looking at that recipe and thinking, Karen has par meson chips on her menu sometimes, and low and behold! I see it is your recipe! it looks so good.  I have never made my own salsa before either, so I am going to make both.  they look so yummy. I just seem to crave spicy food more now.  Thanks for the great idea.

I think we crave spicy because our diets are pretty bland early out. I know I missed the "wow! food!" factor, spicing it up seems to solve that. I'm pretty sure part of it is psychological. lol

Wow Karen, let it out girl!!! We're all entitled. The best thing about your complaining is that you were still able to pull positives out of there. I tell my staff for every complaint they have- and they have alot- they HAVE to give me a positive. LOL

PS, I was reading that recipe and I'm going to try it :).

My chile fills me right up and helps with other stuff too :)......Should've made it sooner. Yay for black beans!

B- 1/2 protein shake

S- Greek yogurt

L- chicken chilli, 1 oz cheese- yummy!

S- banana with peanut butter

D- chicken chilli

S- 1/2 protein shake

4 months post op, have a great day everyone!

Fortunately I'm an optimist at heart, despite coming off as a crusty old biatch at times. ;)

P.S. Chili is an excellent source of protein at any stage - enjoy!

OMG, this made me laugh.  And totally relate.  While I was getting ready for work, the BF walked in, took one look at me and said "Uh oh, cranky-face" and slowly backed out of the room.

Wise, wise man.

Hope your day gets better. :D
