What are you eating/doing today? (Wednesday)
Good morning cc. I have a mixed up day today. A while ago I bought tickets to see a movie for a fundraiser for Nepal. We have since found out the movie will be Jurasic World. We have to go ahead of the movie to pick -up the tickets then go to the theater and are given snacks (which I doubt I can eat). Then they will do a draw for some prize I have forgotten what it is. So I am planning a snack then will have something after the movie.
I also have an echo cardiogram today. That is usually pretty tiring. I do not like when it becomes fast and very up-hill. My knees and hips definitely complain. My fitness last time had improved so much I almost ended up running on it.
b greek yogurt, granola
s 2 baby bel
l salad with deli turkey, havarti light cheese
s pure protein bar
d ?
Have a good day everyone
Your charity event sounds like a lot of fun to me - enjoy! I'm dying to see the new Jurassic movie. Good luck with your echo today.

Was it like the others, and not really any blood? My kids are going to see it this weekend. Nick (he's 9) saw the first one, and was good with it.

Morning all. Boy was i cold yesterday, all day too and a *****illy this morning. Pat and Barb good luck on your procedures tomorrow. Karen have fun on your shopping trip.
So, yesterday i had and appt with the orthopaedic surgeon for the problems i've had with my right knee. He told me that since i've been through PT already and have had this torn meniscus that hasn't healed for quite a while(almost a yr), surgery would be my next option, arrggg. Can't seem to catch a break. I told him i'll think about it and get back to him. On one hand i want to have surgery and get better as my knee has stopped me from exercising and being as active as i'd like to be but, on the other hand just don't want to have another surgery. It'd be nice to not have the knee pain though. I'll think about it some more and if i decide to go ahead, hopefully they can have it done before school starts in fall.

Has anyone ever tried Mr Goudas products? I bought the evaporated milk for my coffee and the nutritional value is 20 calories per 1/2 cup. I find that difficult to believe as it's really nice and creamy. Maybe i'm just being paranoid.
Have a nice day all, Nia.
I feel for you re the meniscus - my husband tore his and was told to rest it only as PT wouldn't do any good. I had surgery on mine years ago with no help for the pain and gained a DVT in the process. How long has it been since torn? Sorry for nothing but bad news re this. Hopefully someone has a good meniscus story
