Good morning :)

Happy Hump Day! CC, hopefully it's a nice day out there and not too humid for gardening.

Off to work for the day, might hit the mall at lunch to check out GNC and look for the Lean RTD, hopefully in strawberry and maybe banana (thank you Julz!) and to have a quick peek for a dress or two. Does anyone know if they actually make maxi dresses for short-ass girls like myself? I have a nice collection of knee(ish)-length frocks but my whiter-than-white, VERY scarred legs kind of ruin "the look" to say the least. :/ Not sure what else today will bring!  By the way, has anyone done spray-tanning? I'm extremely fair skinned and have a (likely illogical) fear of turning orange. lol  I am sincerely hoping that I come home to a new back garden patio - it's been two weeks today since they tore everything down and all I have to show for it is a new fence and screening gravel. haha

9 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the day -

B - Premier protein shake

S - Source Greek (cherry - last one I just realized, have to grocery shop on the way home), a few grapes (last of those as well!)

L - ham/cheese/pickle roll-ups (3) cut into bite-sized pieces, deli mustard for dipping (cutting/dipping them makes it seem so much more like a "meal" and I actually get full), I may buy soup at the café as well, we'll see

S - 1/2 slice banana bread (yes I baked, much to Andrew's delight) spread with about a teaspoon of peanut butter (I'll see how this goes - this sometimes is too carby for me and makes me dopey)

D - 3 oz BBQ steak, "stir fry bag" veggies tossed with a little Greek vinaigrette and crumbled feta

S - likely just tea, perhaps a Bengal Spice fog

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

K. :)

I bought a bunch of dresses at H&M last year for $14.99 each and getting great use out of them this week :-)

I have not really found a mini maxi dress yet, and i'm trying to remember who I know that did...hmmm

"A mini maxi" cracked me up - that's exactly what I need! lol  I had zero luck at Laura Petites yesterday after work, despite them having literally 1000 dresses in their store. I was in H&M a couple of months ago but wasn't looking for summer dresses at that point so I'll go back there and have a look, thanks for the tip.

Glad to see you checking in despite your crazy schedule xo

The H&M dresses are not mini maxi and gi just below the knee. But I loved thee style so much that I bought four :)

what at happened to R&R? Did I get booted because I wasn't on enough? :)

I have nice work dresses that sit at/just below/just above the knee but I'm finding (a little sadly I might add) that I've become very self-conscious about the really ugly scarring on my leg (an unfortunate result of my illness a couple of years ago). I'll definitely check out H&M anyway, just in case. :)

Wear the dresses with opaque nylons maybe? Difficult when it's hot, but doable when you're inside with the freezing air conditioning. Sorry to hear about scarring. That sucks.

I have seen some cute maxi dresses at Laura Petites...I walk past one a couple times per day and I can't help but window shop even though I don't fit their straight sizes...yet.
